Viola Odorata Govenor Herrik - 14cm

Viola odorata Governor Herrick is a sweet-violet selection with low spreading growth and fragrant seasonal flowers. It works well near paths, under deciduous shrubs, along shaded garden edges and in cottage-style planting where flowers can be enjoyed at close range. The foliage forms a soft green ground layer, while the blooms provide a traditional woodland-garden character. It is particularly useful in cooler or sheltered positions where hot afternoon sun is avoided. Over time, plants can form small colonies where conditions suit, creating a naturalised effect rather than a rigid formal border.
