Platycerium Bifurcatum Elkhorn - 14cm

Platycerium bifurcatum, commonly known as elkhorn or staghorn fern, is a distinctive epiphytic fern with broad shield fronds and forked green fronds that create a sculptural hanging display. Presented in a basket, it suits shaded patios, verandahs, fern gardens and bright protected indoor areas where its unusual form can be appreciated from several angles. Mature plants develop a layered, architectural appearance rather than a conventional leafy mound. It is particularly effective in tropical or subtropical garden styling and prefers humidity, airflow and filtered light rather than harsh sun.
