Pinus Thunbergii Christmas Tree - 20cm

Pinus thunbergii 'Christmas Tree' is an evergreen Japanese black pine selected for a dense, conical habit that gives it a naturally formal outline. Its sturdy dark needles create year-round structure, while the neat shape makes it useful as a feature conifer, in Japanese-inspired gardens or as part of a layered evergreen planting. The plant can also suit a large container while young, provided drainage is excellent. As with other black pines, it develops more character with age and can be lightly shaped if required, but its main appeal is the naturally compact, tree-like silhouette suggested by the cultivar name.
