Miscanthus Sinensis Sarabande - 14cm

Miscanthus Sinensis Sarabande is a deciduous ornamental grass that forms an upright clump of narrow foliage and produces airy flower plumes above the leaves later in the growing season. It adds movement, texture and vertical structure without the solid visual weight of a shrub, making it useful in contemporary borders, mass plantings and mixed perennial gardens. The fine foliage moves readily in a breeze and the dried stems can remain attractive into winter before the clump is cut back. This named selection is best used where gardeners want a refined ornamental grass as a repeating accent or soft screen rather than a permanent evergreen barrier.
