Cotinus Coggygria Dusky Maiden - 20cm

Cotinus Coggygria Dusky Maiden is a striking deciduous shrub grown for rich foliage colour and the soft, smoky flower effect that gives smoke bush its common name. It makes an excellent feature plant in mixed borders because the dark leaves provide contrast even when the plant is not flowering. Its rounded shrub form works particularly well with silver foliage, ornamental grasses and lighter flowering perennials. In autumn the foliage can add another layer of seasonal colour before the plant becomes dormant.
