Cistus Salvifolius - 14cm

Cistus salviifolius is a compact Mediterranean rockrose grown for evergreen grey-green foliage and simple white flowers with a relaxed, natural look. It is well suited to sunny, dry-style borders, gravel gardens, rockeries and coastal or Mediterranean-inspired planting where low maintenance and drought tolerance are useful. The flowers are individually short-lived but produced over a seasonal period, giving the shrub a soft, informal display. Its compact woody habit combines well with lavender, rosemary, grasses and other plants that prefer sharp drainage and leaner soil conditions.
