Chaenomeles Speciosa Double Apricot - 14cm

Chaenomeles speciosa 'Double Apricot' is a named flowering quince grown for its early-season blossom and tough, spreading shrub habit. It brings colour to winter and early spring gardens when many other deciduous shrubs are still quiet, making it useful as a feature, informal hedge or background plant in cottage-style borders. The twiggy branch framework also gives the plant a strong seasonal character before leaves fully develop. Supplied in a 14cm pot, it is a practical size for establishing in a sunny garden position. The cultivar name suggests a double apricot-toned flower, but selection-specific colour and size details should remain subject to confirmation.
