Allocasuarina Littoralis - 14cm

Allocasuarina littoralis is a hardy Australian native tree with fine, dark green branchlets that give the canopy a soft, almost pine-like texture. It is useful in larger native gardens, habitat planting, windbreaks and revegetation-style landscapes where toughness and an informal natural character are valued. Once established it copes well with exposed conditions and periods of dryness. Its upright framework also makes it useful for adding height and shelter without the dense, broad-leaved look of many conventional screening trees.
