Welsh Onion is grown for kitchen use and fits easily into edible gardens, vegetable gardens, containers, and herb gardens. Plant the seedlings out into prepared soil or a suitable container, spacing them so each plant has room to develop. A punnet is useful for planting a small row, filling gaps in an existing vegetable bed or staggering plantings for a longer harvest period. Regular picking or harvesting at the appropriate stage will help you get the best value from the crop.
