Acacia Floribunda - 14cm

Acacia floribunda, often called gossamer wattle or white sallow wattle, is a fast-looking evergreen Australian native tree with fine foliage and masses of pale wattle flowers. It is useful for screening, larger hedges, habitat planting and native feature areas where a quick leafy framework and seasonal flower display are wanted. Mature plants commonly reach around 4 to 10m high and 2 to 4m wide, so the species is best given room to develop rather than being crowded into a narrow bed. The light foliage texture makes it an effective backdrop for heavier-leaved shrubs and grasses.
