Acacia Decurrens - 5cm

Acacia decurrens, commonly known as green wattle or black wattle, is a fast-growing Australian native tree with fine foliage and bright yellow wattle flowers. It is useful for screening, habitat planting and larger native landscapes where a relatively quick canopy and seasonal flower display are wanted. Mature trees can reach around 4 to 10m high while remaining comparatively narrower, often around 1 to 2m wide in the source data. The upright habit makes it useful in larger boundary plantings, but the species still needs enough space for roots and canopy development rather than being squeezed into a small suburban bed.
