Neomarica Gracilis - 30cm

Neomarica gracilis, often grown as walking iris, is a clumping tropical perennial with arching sword-like leaves and elegant iris-like flowers. The flowers are individually short-lived but can appear successively through the warmer months, creating delicate detail above the foliage. It suits shaded courtyards, subtropical garden beds, protected borders and larger containers where a lush strappy-leaf plant is useful. The arching stems can form plantlets after flowering, giving the plant its walking-iris character and allowing established clumps to gradually spread in favourable conditions.
