Lomandra Hystrix - 20cm

Slender Mat Rush is a Australian native evergreen grass with a naturally clumping and tufting habit. It’s a useful choice for mass planting, border / edging, groundcover, and erosion control, especially when you want a plant that has a clear role in the landscape without making the design feel overworked. It performs well in full sun and shade, giving you some flexibility when choosing the right position. With a mature scale of around 60–80cm high and 60–80cm wide, it’s also straightforward to plan spacing and understand the role it will play as the garden develops.
